his letter is been written to request a person to donate some amounts and funds for the medical treatment of all the poor people. So that they get cured and live life without any problems

Dear Mr. Patel,
I am writing this letter on behalf of the Red Cross charity Group. we are carrying out philanthropic activities especially revolving around the poor people who are in need of good medicinal treatment. We are currently organising a charity event to collect the funds for these people so that they get hope to get cure for their diseases and live a healthy life.
This charity event is scheduled to take place at Daffodils Hotel on 8th October, 2010.
There are approximately 800 guests attending this event. we are organising this event very successfully from past 10 years. The event also receives a great exposure through media and newspapers.
I am writing you this letter to request you to donate the medicines or any medicinal instruments which would be very helpful for the treatment of poor people.
I will get in touch with you in coming few days to discuss about the donations.
